Panasonic SF4D-F47 is a compact and robust finger-protection intrinsically safe safety light curtain sensor designed for a variety of safety applications. It features an aluminium housing with a sensing surface made of polycarbonate resin and stainless steel SUS304, and nylon upper and lower caps. This sensor is equipped with an interference prevention function, external device monitoring function compatible with 8-core or 12-core cables, an interlock function with manual or auto reset options, an override function available with a 12-core cable, and a fixed blanking function. It connects via a pre-equipped connector and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. The SF4D-F47 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and has a protective height of 470 mm. It provides two digital outputs (selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2 and one digital output (selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA). The sensing distance ranges from 20cm to 7m in standard mode and 80cm to 12m in long mode, with a detectable object size of 14mm. Current consumption is 120mA (0.12 A) for the emitter and 140mA (0.14 A) for the receiver. The light curtain emits infrared light with a wavelength of 850 nm.
