Panasonic SF4D-F127 is a compact and robust finger-protection intrinsically safe safety light curtain sensor designed for a variety of safety and monitoring applications. It features an aluminium housing with a sensing surface made of polycarbonate resin and stainless steel SUS304, and nylon upper and lower caps. This sensor is equipped with an interference prevention function, external device monitoring function compatible with 8-core or 12-core cables, an interlock function with manual or auto reset options, an override function available with a 12-core cable, and a fixed blanking function. It connects via a pre-equipped connector and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. The SF4D-F127 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, with a protective height of 1270 mm. It provides two digital outputs (selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2, and one digital output (selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA). The sensing distance ranges from 20cm to 7m in standard mode and 80cm to 12m in long mode, with a current consumption of 120mA for the emitter. It utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 850 nm and can detect objects as small as 14mm in size.
