Panasonic EX-13SEA is a photo-electric sensor designed with a PBT housing and a Polyarylate lens. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and has a current consumption of 10mA / 0.01 A for both the emitter and receiver. This sensor is IP67 rated, indicating a high degree of protection against dust and water. It emits red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and can detect objects as small as 2mm. The visual position indicator features an orange LED for operation and a green LED for stability, ensuring clear status visibility. With a response time of 500µs / 0.0005 s and a sensing distance of up to 0.5m, it provides quick and accurate detection. The EX-13SEA offers one digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA) and operates in Light-ON mode. It includes protection functions such as outputs short-circuit protection. This ultra-slim, narrow-beam sensor is designed for side sensing with built-in amplification, making it suitable for precise applications. It comes pre-wired with a 2m 3-core (2-core on emitter side) 0.1mm2 flexible cabtyre cable terminated with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy installation.
