Panasonic EX-13EB-PN is a photo-electric sensor designed with a polyethylene terephthalate housing and a polyalylate lens. It operates with a current consumption of 10mA / 0.01 A for both the emitter and receiver. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and emits red light. It is capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 2mm / 0.079". The visual position indicator features an orange LED that lights up when the output is ON and a green LED that illuminates under stable light received or stable dark conditions. With a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s and a single digital output (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA), it operates in Dark-ON mode. The sensing distance is set at 0.5m / 50cm / 500mm / 19.685". It includes protection functions such as outputs short-circuit protection and is characterized by its ultra-slim design with side sensing and built-in amplification. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 2m 3-core (2-core on emitter side) 0.1mm2 flexible cabtyre cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The wavelength of the emitted light is 680 nm.
