Panasonic EX-11SEA is a photo-electric sensor designed with a PBT housing and a Polyarylate lens. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and has a current consumption of 10mA / 0.01 A for both the emitter and receiver. This sensor is IP67 rated, indicating a high degree of protection against dust and water. It emits red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and can detect objects as small as 1mm. The EX-11SEA features an orange LED for operation indication and a green LED for stability, with a response time of 500µs / 0.0005 s. It offers 1 x digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA) and operates in Light-ON mode. The sensing distance is 0.15m (150mm or 5.906 inches). It includes protection functions such as outputs short-circuit protection. This ultra-slim, narrow-beam photo-electric sensor comes as an emitter+receiver pair with side sensing and built-in amplification. It is pre-wired with a 2m 3-core (2-core on emitter side) 0.1mm2 flexible cabtyre cable terminated with bare end flying leads.
