Panasonic SF4C-F47 is a sensor array designed for finger-protection and intrinsically safe applications, meeting safety Category 4 / PL e / SIL3 standards. It features an external device monitoring function, ELCA function for reducing mutual interference automatically, an interlock function with manual or auto reset, an override function through a 12-core cable, and a fixed blanking function. The housing is made of polycarbonate, with the sensing surface being a polycarbonate alloy. It has a protective height of 480 mm and comes pre-wired with a 5m 8-core 0.15mm2 heat-resistant PVC cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The SF4C-F47 offers an IP65 degree of protection and includes 2 x digital outputs (Selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2, and 1 x digital output (Selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA). Its sensing distance ranges from 0.1m to 3m (100-3000mm or 0.326-9.843ft), utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 855 nm. The detectable object size is 14mm (0.551"), and it has a response time of 90ms (0.09 s) for ON and 9ms (0.009 s) for OFF.
