PM-F45-P-C3 Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic PM-F45-P-C3 is a compact U-shaped (fork-type) photoelectric sensor designed for precise object detection with a 6mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 1m 4-core 0.09mm2 cabtyre PVC cable that terminates with bare flying leads. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP64, ensuring durability against dust and water splashes. The housing is made from PBT material, contributing to its robustness. With a sensing distance of 6mm and utilizing infrared light with a wavelength of 855 nm for detection, it provides two digital outputs (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA) for both light-ON and dark-ON conditions. The PM-F45-P-C3 features a rapid response time of 80µs (0.00008 s) and includes an orange LED for visual positioning indication. It has a current consumption of 15mA (0.015 A) and can detect objects as small as 0.8x1.2mm, making it suitable for a variety of applications where precise detection of small objects is required.
