Product description
Panasonic FX-551 is an amplifier for sensors, specifically designed as a digital fiber sensor amplifier featuring a red LED. It is constructed with a polycarbonate case cover and polyacetal switches, ensuring durability. This part is pre-equipped with a connector for easy installation and offers a wavelength of 660 nm. It operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C and is protected by an IP40 degree of protection, safeguarding against solid objects larger than 1mm. The FX-551 supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and has a low current consumption of 40mA (0.04 A) under normal conditions and 28mA (0.028 A) in Eco mode, both at 24Vdc. It features a single digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA) and offers a variety of response times ranging from 60µs (0.000060 s) to 24ms (0.024 s), catering to different operational needs. Additionally, it includes an interference prevention function, an OFF-delay/ON-delay timer, and a one-shot timer with a time delay range of 0.1ms to 32s (0.0001-32 s). The power consumption is modest at 0.96 W in normal mode and 0.68 W in Eco mode. The device is equipped with a 4-digit red LED display and a 4-digit green LED display for clear, easy-to-read output information.
