EX-L212-P-J Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic EX-L212-P-J is a photo-electric sensor made from PBT for the case and glass for the lens, designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. It consumes 10mA / 0.01 A of current and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor features a spot size of 8mm x 5.5mm and emits red light with a wavelength of 655 nm. It can detect objects as small as 3mm within a sensing distance of up to 3m. The visual position indicator includes an orange LED for operation, a green LED for stability, and another green LED for power-ON status. With a response time of 500µs / 0.0005 s, it provides 1 x digital output (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA) and operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. The sensor is equipped with protection functions against outputs short-circuit and inverse polarity. It also features a long sensing range, ultra-compact laser (Class 1) with a built-in amplifier, continuously variable sensitivity adjustment, and comes pre-wired with an M8 connector pigtail. The cable includes 4 cores for the receiver and 2 cores for the emitter.
