EX-L212-P-C5 Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic EX-L212-P-C5 is a photo-electric sensor made from PBT for the case and glass for the lens, designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C. It consumes 10mA / 0.01 A of current and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor features a detection spot size of 8mm x 5.5mm and uses red light for detection, capable of identifying objects as small as 3mm. It includes an orange LED for operation indication, a green LED for stability, and another green LED for power-on status. With a response time of 500µs / 0.0005 s, it provides 1 x digital output (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA) and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The sensing distance reaches up to 3m, and it is equipped with output short-circuit protection and inverse polarity protection. This sensor is characterized by its long sensing range, ultra-compact laser (Class 1) with a built-in amplifier, and offers continuously variable sensitivity adjustment. It comes pre-wired with a 5m 4-core 0.15mm2 cabtyre cable with bare end flying leads, featuring 4 cores for the cable and 2 cores for the emitter in terms of circuitry. The wavelength of the laser is 655 nm.
