Parker's Global P31D and P32DGlobal Dump Valves efficiently manage pressure by safely and quickly exhaustingpneumatic energy in an industrial environment. These quick dump valves are highflow, normally closed, 3-port, 2-position directional control valves. Uponenergizing the solenoid, inlet air is applied to the top of the piston. Thepiston pushes against the spring and opens the main valve providing full flowair to the downstream. When the solenoid is de-energized, the main valve closesallowing downstream air to exhaust rapidly through the bottom plug. The bottomplug is tapped so that exhaust may be piped away or fitted with amuffler/silencer. These global dump valves can be mounted using a modularconnector to other P31/P32 Global Air Preparation products.Parker P31S and P32S Global SoftStart Valves offer increased productivity by providing safe introduction ofpressure to machines or systems and potentially reducing damage that can occurat start up. They allow the pressure to gradually build to a set point beforefully opening to deliver full air line pressure. The controlled introduction ofpressure can be an important safety factor and prevent damage to tooling whenthe air pressure is introduced at machine or system start up. When pressure issupplied to the inlet port, gradual filling of the downstream system occursthrough the adjustment needle valve. The piston opens the main valve when thedownstream side of the valve reaches approximately 60% of the supply pressure.The ramp up time to reach the switch-over pressure is adjustable via the needlevalve in the cover. The P31S and P32S Global Soft Start Valves can be mountedusing a modular connector to other P31 and P32 Global Air Preparation Products.P31T and P32T Modular GlobalCombined Soft Start/Dump Valves provide for the safe introduction of pressureto machines or systems.
