PM-Y45 Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic PM-Y45 is a compact U-shaped (fork type) photoelectric sensor designed for a 6mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin connector for connectivity. This sensor, with a protection degree of IP40, is constructed from PBT material, ensuring durability in its designated environments. It offers a sensing distance of 6mm and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 855 nm for detection. The PM-Y45 features two digital outputs: one PNP open-collector for Light-ON and another for Dark-ON, both supporting 24Vdc at 50mA. It boasts a rapid response time of 80µs and includes an orange LED for visual positioning. The sensor's current consumption is minimal at 15mA, and it is capable of detecting objects as small as 0.8x1.2mm.
