PM-Y45-C3 Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic PM-Y45-C3 is a compact U-Shaped (fork type) photoelectric sensor designed for a 6mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is connected via a pre-wired 3m 4-core 0.09mm2 cabtyre PVC cable terminated with bare flying leads. The sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP64 and is constructed with a PBT housing. It features a sensing distance of 6mm and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 855 nm for detection. This model includes two digital outputs (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA), one for Light-ON and another for Dark-ON conditions, with a response time of 80µs. An orange LED serves as a visual position indicator. The current consumption is 15mA, and it can detect objects as small as 0.8x1.2mm.
