Panasonic PM-T54 is a compact U-shaped (fork, T-Type) photoelectric sensor designed for a 5mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is pre-equipped with a connector for ease of installation. The sensor features a U-shaped fork design with a sensing distance of 5mm and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 940 nm for detection. It offers two digital outputs: one PNP open-collector (24Vdc / 50mA) for Light-ON and another for Dark-ON, both with a response time of 100µs (0.0001 s). An orange LED serves as a visual position indicator during operation. The PM-T54 has a current consumption of 15mA (0.015 A) and can detect objects as small as 0.8x1.8mm.
