The housing and case cover are made from die-cast aluminium, while the front cover is constructed from glass. This sensor is pre-wired with a 0.5m / 50cm cabtyre cable for connectivity. It operates at a wavelength of 658 nm and is suitable for ambient air temperatures ranging from 0 to +45 °C. The HL-C205BE-MK offers a sensing distance between 45mm and 55mm (50mm +/-5mm or 1.969 +/-0.197in) and is protected to a degree of IP67, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water ingress.
