HG-C1400-P Panasonic Sensors & Transducers

Panasonic HG-C1400-P is a micro-laser (Class 2) distance triangulation sensor/transmitter designed for precise distance measurement with a center at 400mm. It features a red light with a wavelength of 655 nm and a beam diameter of 500µm (0.5mm). The sensor is housed in a die-cast aluminium body, ensuring durability, and comes pre-wired with a 2m 5-core composite cable with bare end flying leads for easy integration. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +45 °C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for challenging environments. The HG-C1400-P provides one analog output (0-5Vdc / 4-20mA), consumes 40mA at 24Vdc or 65mA at 12Vdc, and includes one digital input (24Vdc PNP external input) and one digital output (24Vdc PNP open-collector). It is capable of sensing distances from 20cm to 60cm (200mm-600mm) with a measurement accuracy characterized by 300-800µm repeatability.
