GX-F8BI-C5 Panasonic Proximity Sensors

Panasonic GX-F8BI-C5 is a rectangular inductive proximity sensor with a built-in amplifier, designed for detecting the presence of metallic objects within a 0mm to 2.1mm sensing distance. It is constructed from PBT material for the housing, ensuring durability. This sensor is pre-wired with a 5m 3-core 0.15mm2 cabtyre cable that is resistant to heat, cold, and oil, and ends with bare flying leads for easy integration into various systems. It operates in a normally closed (NC) mode at a different frequency, with a current consumption of 15mA (0.015 A) and a sampling rate of 500 Hz. The GX-F8BI-C5 features one digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA) and is equipped with an orange LED as a visual position indicator. It can reliably detect iron sheets sized 15x15x1mm as standard sensing objects. This sensor operates effectively within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C and offers a high degree of protection with an IP68G rating, making it suitable for challenging environmental conditions.
