EX-Z13A-R Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic EX-Z13A-R is a photo-electric sensor designed with a PBT housing and a polycarbonate lens, capable of operating within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and utilizes red light for detection, with a minimum detectable object size of 1mm. This sensor features an orange LED for operation indication and a green LED for stability, ensuring clear visual feedback. It boasts a rapid response time of 500µs / 0.0005 s and includes 1 digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 20mA) for connectivity. Operating in Light-ON mode, it has a sensing distance of up to 0.5m and is equipped with output short-circuit protection for enhanced durability. The EX-Z13A-R is an ultra-miniature photoelectric sensor that comes as a thru-beam emitter+receiver pair with side sensing capabilities, a bending-resistant cable, and built-in amplification. It is connected via a pre-wired 2m 3-core (2-core on emitter side) 0.1mm2 cabtyre cable with bare end flying leads. The sensor operates with a wavelength of 650 nm and delivers measurement accuracy with 50µm repeatability.
