EX-Z12FB Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic EX-Z12FB is a photo-electric sensor designed with a PBT housing and a polycarbonate lens, suitable for ambient air temperatures ranging from -10 to +55 °C. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. This sensor emits red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and can detect objects as small as 0.5mm with a measurement accuracy of 30µm (repeatability). It features an orange LED for operation indication and a green LED for stability, providing visual feedback. The EX-Z12FB has a response time of 500µs / 0.0005 s and includes one digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 20mA) for connectivity. It operates in a Dark-ON mode over a sensing distance of 0.2m and is equipped with output short-circuit protection. This ultra-miniature photoelectric sensor is a thru-beam emitter+receiver pair with front sensing and built-in amplification. It comes pre-wired with a 2m 3-core (2-core on emitter side) 0.1mm2 cabtyre cable terminated with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy installation and connection.
