EX-Z11B-P Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic EX-Z11B-P is a photo-electric sensor designed with a PBT housing and a polycarbonate lens, suitable for operating in ambient air temperatures ranging from -10 to +55 °C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and utilizes red light for detection, capable of identifying objects as small as 0.3mm. This sensor features an orange LED for operation indication and a green LED for stability, ensuring clear visual feedback. With a response time of 500µs (0.0005 s) and equipped with a single digital output (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 20mA), it operates in a Dark-ON mode. The sensing distance is set at 0.05m (5cm, 50mm), and it includes protection against outputs short-circuit. This ultra-miniature photoelectric sensor is a thru-beam emitter+receiver pair with side sensing and built-in amplification, connected via a pre-wired 2m 3-core (2-core on emitter side) 0.1mm2 cabtyre cable with bare end flying leads. It has a 2-core cable configuration, a wavelength of 650 nm, and offers measurement accuracy with 20µm repeatability.
