Panasonic EX-Z11B-P-R is a photo-electric sensor designed with a PBT housing and a polycarbonate lens, suitable for ambient air temperatures ranging from -10 to +55°C and offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. This sensor emits red light, can detect objects as small as 0.3mm, and features an orange LED for operation indication and a green LED for stability indication. It has a response time of 500µs (0.0005 s) and includes 1 digital output (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 20mA) operating in Dark-ON mode. The sensing distance is set at 0.05m (5cm, 50mm), and it is equipped with output short-circuit protection. This ultra-miniature photoelectric sensor operates as a thru-beam emitter+receiver pair with side sensing, includes a bending-resistant cable with built-in amplification, and is connected via a pre-wired 2m 3-core (2-core on emitter side) 0.1mm2 cabtyre cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The cable consists of 2 cores, and the sensor operates with a wavelength of 650 nm, achieving a measurement accuracy with 20µm repeatability.
