Product description

Panasonic CX-483 is a compact photoelectric sensor designed for transparent object sensing. It features a PBT housing and a polycarbonate lens, with an ambient air temperature for operation ranging from -25 to +55°C and a degree of protection rated at IP67. This sensor emits infrared light with a wavelength of 870 nm and can detect objects as small as 50mm within a sensing distance of 0.05m to 1m. It offers a quick response time of 1ms / 0.001 s and includes a digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA). The CX-483 operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes and is equipped with an orange LED for operation indication and a green LED for stability indication. It is pre-wired with a 2m 3-core 0.2mm2 cabtyre cable terminated with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy installation and connection.
