Panasonic CX-483-Z is a compact photoelectric sensor designed for transparent object sensing. It features a PBT housing and a polycarbonate lens, with an operating ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and a degree of protection rated at IP67. This sensor emits infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 870 nm and can detect objects as small as 50mm within a sensing distance of 0.05m to 1m. It offers a quick response time of 1ms / 0.001 s and includes digital outputs of 1 x digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA). The CX-483-Z operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes and is equipped with an orange LED for operation indication and a green LED for stability indication. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin M8 plugin connector and has a cable with 3 cores for connection.
