Panasonic CX-442-Z is a compact photoelectric sensor designed for precise object detection across a sensing distance of 0.02m to 0.3m (2cm to 30cm or 20mm to 300mm). It features a PBT housing and an acrylic lens, ensuring durability within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C. This sensor offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 rating, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It operates with a red light source at a wavelength of 650 nm and includes an orange LED for operation indication and a green LED for stability indication. The CX-442-Z provides quick response times of 1ms / 0.001 s and includes 1 x digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA) for efficient signal processing. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes for versatile application use. The sensor is pre-equipped with a 4-pin M8 plugin connector for easy installation and features a 4-core cable for reliable connectivity.
